The setup will help all technical institute and Universities in Jammu and Kashmir State by periodically organizing tutorial and workshops on the recent advancement of Micro-grid and Smart Grid. All the central and state agencies those are working in the field of Renewable Energy Resources. Government agencies such as Ministry of Renewable Energy (MNRE), Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI), Ministry of Power, Rural Electrification Corporation (REC) Jammu and Kashmir Energy Development Agency (JAKEDA), Jammu Power Development Corporation Limited (JPDCL) and Kashmir Power Development Corporation Limited (KPDCL) would be the key beneficiaries.
