I am an Assistant Professor in Mathematics department, IIT Jammu.

After finishing my integrated MSc from NISER Bhubaneswar I joined ISI Bangalore as a PhD student under Prof. Manish Kumar. My PhD work was on understanding covers of curves in positive characteristic, leading to my dissertation `On the Inertia Conjecture and its Generalizations' that generalizes and provides numerous evidence for a long standing conjecture posed by Abhyankar. I was a visiting fellow at TIFR Mumbai from September 2020 to July 2022. Subsequently, I joined CMI with NBHM in August 2022, and transferred to ISI Kolkata in August 2023.

Algebraic Geometry. Specifically, Covers of Curves, Ramification Theory, Etale Fundamental Groups, Orbifold bundles and Moduli Problems.
